Role Overview:
As a Powered Access Service Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs), servicing, and repairing a range of powered access equipment, both diesel and electric. You will attend client sites to address breakdowns and ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards. Additionally, you will assist within the depot team as required, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PDIs, servicing, and repairs on tool hire and powered access equipment.
- Attend client sites for breakdown repairs.
- Maintain a high standard of work under pressure.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations as per HSE and company standards.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in roles such as Service Engineer, Mobile Service Engineer, or Powered Access Fitter.
- A background in the powered access or construction hire industry.
- An analytical approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work independently without instruction.
- A full UK driver’s licence.
- Ideally, an IPAF licence and CAP registration.
