Bloomberg Live Experiences, the live events platform of Bloomberg News and Media, delivers compelling, news-making convenings that harness the power of our global, wide-reaching newsroom and enable our premium audiences with the actionable insights and meaningful connections.
As an Editorial Coordinator you will work closely with the Bloomberg Live Experiences editorial teams globally to help support sophisticated, news-making programming that enhances Bloomberg’s editorial mission, burnishes our brand in the marketplace and is commercially successful.
We’ll trust you to: *Work with the Global Editorial Operations Director to implement a standard set of editorial processes and templates across BLE events
*Research event topics and propose appropriate speakers for editorial sessions at our events
*Coordinate outreach and track speaker invite status, providing a VIP level of support to all BLE speakers and a consistent experience across our events
*Maintain event websites, collect and post speaker photos and bios; update online agendas as required; ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials (website, app, marketing, press releases, onsite production, etc.)
*Prepare comprehensive speaker briefing packets for mainstage and breakout sessions
*Assist on key production needs before, during and after events
*Work with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues from different departments across various Bloomberg platforms in multiple time zones, and senior executives from all backgrounds, sectors and industries
You’ll need to have: *Minimum of two years of experience in journalism, operations, events or comparable field
*A fixation on being detail-oriented and accurate
*Superior research, proofing and copy editing skills
*Proficiency in Google docs, Salesforce and other online data-management platforms including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*The ability to juggle multiple assignments with good time management skills
*Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
*Willingness to travel to attend convenings
*Successful track-record building productive relationships internally and externally
