SEN Teaching Assistant Start Date: January 2025
End Date: Ongoing (with the potential to go permanent)
Location: B9, Bordesley Green, Birmingham
Daily Rate: £95 - £105
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm
Long Term Futures Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity to join a mainstream primary school in Bordesley Green, B9 as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves working closely with students in small groups, helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: *Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD and ADHD.
*Plan and deliver engaging, tailored activities to meet individual pupil needs.
*Provide targeted interventions, such as phonics and reading, to enhance learning outcomes.
*Foster strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Work with individuals or small groups of pupils within the classroom to ensure their success.
Requirements: *A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.
*Experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
*Experience supporting students with SEN and adapting learning activities to meet their needs.
*A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting students.
