YEAR 6 TEACHER JOB - NOTTINGHAM
Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Nottingham Centre (St Annes, Bulwell, Mapperley, Clifton, and Surrounding Areas)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract type: Short term or long term positions available
Hays Education are working with primary schools in Nottingham who are looking for qualified teachers to join their team on either a short or long-term basis. We also have permanent opportunities available. As a teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Your role
We are looking for supportive, resilient, compassionate individuals to work within a school setting where you will be joining a skilled and cohesive team. The role is to support children in their learning and behavioural needs, and you will play a massive role in their development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
*Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students.
*Experience in SATs
*Strong classroom management skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work effectively as part of a team.
