RG Consultancy are working with a reputable company based in Oldham who are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant. You will support the Management Accountant in ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will join a medium sized finance team and work within the department to support continuing growth and support ongoing improvements.

The Role
*Assisting in preparation of the monthly management accounts
*Accruals, prepayments, monthly journals
*Maintenance of fixed asset register
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Profit and loss
*Assisting in monitoring the financial performance of the company
*Assisting in implementing change and ongoing improvements for efficiency
*Assisting in year end and audit preparations
The Person
*Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or studying towards
*At least 2 years experience within a similar assistant/management accounting role
*Experience with SAGE is an advantage
*Strong IT & MS Excel skills
*Basic maths and written skills are essential
