Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant on a Part Time basis working to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Process supplier invoices using internal software and reconcile against purchase orders
*Resolve supplier queries and manage payment-related issues
*Reconcile supplier statements, request and chase invoices, and process credit notes as required
*Distribute customer statements via email and post
*Follow up on outstanding customer payments to ensure adherence to payment terms
*General Accounts Administration
*Process and reconcile credit card receipts.
*Answer calls in a professional manner, manage accounts-related correspondence, and maintain accurate filing systems.
Experience Ideally Required for This Role:
*Prior experience in accounts payable and receivable processes
*Familiarity with ERP software including Xero is beneficial
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
