About Us:
At our SEMH Partner School in Eastleigh, we’re more than just educators – we’re mentors, supporters, and change-makers. We specialise in providing a nurturing environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, empowering them to thrive in education and life. We believe every child deserves the chance to succeed, and we’re looking for passionate individuals who share this belief to join our dedicated team.

*Creating an Inclusive Environment: Help cultivate a classroom environment where every student feels safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their potential.
*Supporting Individual Plans: Implement and follow individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans (BSPs) to help students overcome challenges and thrive.
*Building Confidence: Empower students to gain independence, build social skills, and develop self-confidence that will serve them both in and outside the classroom.
*Collaborating with a Fantastic Team: Work alongside a team of dedicated educators and staff to provide the best support for our students, while also building strong relationships with parents and carers.
*Ensuring Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Contribute to maintaining a safe and caring environment by adhering to safeguarding policies and always putting the welfare of the children first.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is:
*Empathetic and Resilient: You should have the patience and understanding to work with students who may have emotional and behavioural challenges.
*A True Team Player: You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with teachers and other professionals to support student progress.
*A Strong Communicator: You’ll need to confidently interact with students, staff, and parents to ensure we’re all working towards the same goals.
*Passionate About Making a Difference: You don’t need prior experience in SEMH – we want someone who’s driven by a genuine desire to help students overcome barriers and succeed.
Desirable Experience or Qualifications:
*Experience working with children, especially in an SEN or SEMH setting (but not essential).
*Any relevant background or qualifications related to Special Educational Needs are welcome.
Why Join Us?
*Training & Support: No prior SEMH experience? No problem! We offer full training and ongoing professional development to ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed.
*Make a Real Impact: Your work will directly contribute to helping students overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their potential.
*Career Growth: We believe in fostering the development of our staff – whether you want to grow into more senior roles or deepen your expertise in SEN, we’ll support you.
*Work with a Passionate Team: Join a group of like-minded professionals who are deeply committed to improving the lives of children in our care.
*Rewarding & Competitive Salary: Along with a competitive salary, we offer fantastic benefits, including career progression opportunities and ongoing training.
