Job Description:
Financial Reporting Manager
*Annual Salary: £120-140k plus bonus
*Location: London
*Job Type: Full-time
A leading services business it looking to recruit an experienced Financial Reporting Manager. The role will reporting the Financial Director and will cover the statutory audit process and consolidation of multiple entities across the international and UK business. This role also will play a key role in managing the relationship with external advisors and auditors.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Collaborate closely with auditors and the Finance team to ensure an efficient audit.
*Track audit progress, identify deviations from the plan, and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
*Coordinate and facilitate communications between the Finance team, business units, and auditors to ensure a successful audit outcome.
*Identify high-risk areas early in the planning process and address them with technical papers or appropriate audit support.
*Review papers to ensure they are robust, consistent, clear, and of high quality.
*Lead and deliver on a Group consolidation that is efficient, accurate, and supported by clear, concise workpapers with a strong audit trail.
*Build and develop strategic partnerships with Group Auditors and stay technically up to date with FRS102 and other associated reporting requirements.
*Manage the Group Dividend Strategy and coordinate key stakeholders to agree on the annual strategy, supported by a technical paper documenting the approach and conclusions.
*Work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with legal requirements for the delivery of Financial Statements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with 8+ years PQE experience in industry, ideally with a background in audit/practice from a top-tier firm.
*Experience in an international multi-site business.
*Proficient in preparing group financial statements in accordance with FRS 102.
*Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and collaboration skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a continuous improvement mentality suitable for a growing organization.
*Services industry experience is desirable.
