In this role, you’ll drive stock availability and optimize supply planning to align with the companies commercial goals, forecasting NPD launches and coordinating across categories, SKUs, regions, and channels.

A great opportunity for a Demand and Supply Planning Manager (Senior Merchandiser) to join a growing Ecommerce brand for 12 months in an FTC role. The business has grown rapidly in the last 2 year and are projected for further growth over the next 2 years,
Description
*Stock Purchases: Create NPD stock forecasts and monthly core rebuys
*Stock Planning: Ensure stock is hitting our forward requirements and OTB is spent correctly, creating and justifying annual stock targets
*Stock Optimisation: Actively manage to reduce expiring stock and slow turners; liasing between departments to advise and optimise stock by channel and region
*The Demand Planning Manager will own the stock position. They will create stock targets, analyse stock performance and ensure we are turning on sufficient cover without being overstocked.
*They will know the requirements for the current year and beyond to ensure we are sufficiently planning ahead to hit targets.
*They will monitor our OTB and ensure we are set up for success.
*Annual planning of stock targets by SKU, accounting for Hero, Rising Star and A/B SKU’s.
*Create stock turn targets that allow for the efficient turning of stock from asset into revenue without compromising availability.
*Ensure stock (demand) is planned to fulfil our commercial plans for both DTC and Retail partners, and use monthly re-forecasting meetings to align with the wider business commercial plans.
*Ensure stock is ready for NPD launches and despatch dates.
*Manage the reformulation strategy alongside the Production team.


Profile
A minimum of 4 years experience working within a Demand Planning, Merchandising or stock forecasting background

* Must be highly proficient with WSSI and OTB management
* Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
* Passionate and driven
* Personable and collaborative
* Strong Excel skills (will need to work with complex spreadsheets and this is essential to the role)
