Job Description:
This new SEMH Schools’ Group is seeking their first Referrals Manager.
Main Purpose of the Role:
To effectively and responsibly handle initial enquiries and new business from commissioning authorities and schools for students requiring education.
To manage expectations of current clients and provide excellent customer service, whilst working closely alongside other internal departments and external multidisciplinary teams.
Core Duties
*Process initial enquiries from Clients, Schools and Parents
*Responsible, as part of a team, for incoming referrals to the Company and inputting the details into the Company’s Online Management Information System
*Ensure enquiries and referrals are dealt within a timely manner
*Identify Safeguarding and or well-being concerns highlighted in the referral or through the assessment process and liaising with the Company’s Safeguarding Officer regarding any concerns
*Identify the staffing level that may be required for students
*Schedule initial assessment visits and organising student timetables
*Review the outcome of assessments
*Edit assessment reports and verify provision targets
*Identify and accurately match suitable Education Specialists to students,sourcing appropriate venues for sessions to take place
*Ensure the Company’s database is kept up-to-date, including all forms of communication with Client’s, Schools and Parents
*Adhere to and implement all relevant Company policies and procedures
Additional Duties
*Attending Company training as required by the Company.
*Undertaking Online training as part of your Continuing Professional Development.
*Undertake any other duties requested by the Company to ensure the full and smooth delivery of the Company’s service.
Requirements
*Excellent command of the English language (reading/writing/ comprehension).
*Experience in and understanding of formal/informal teaching within the Education Sector.
*Work-based knowledge of Special Educational Needs and similar barriers to learning and development.
*Highly organised with strong administration skills and experience of managing a busy workload and effectively meeting short- and long-term priorities.
*Computer confident, proactive and enjoys learning new IT systems, good/ intermediate/ advanced skills and knowledge of Office 365 including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Outlook, Meetings and Teams.
*Experience of using databases and web-based communication systems.
