Job Description:
Reed/LTA are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a central based primary school in Preston, working in the Year 2 and Year 3 classes. This part-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute significantly to the educational development of children. The position is available until the end of the summer term.
*Hourly Rate: £18.05
*Job Type: Part-time (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Day-to-day of the role: *Support the teaching staff in planning and delivering educational activities.
*Work directly with Year 2 and Year 3 students, providing both group and one-on-one support.
*Assist in the preparation of learning materials and the setup of the learning environment.
*Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
*Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a constructive learning atmosphere.
*Step in for teachers as needed to lead lessons and manage the classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or a similar role.
*Strong understanding of the educational needs of Year 2 and Year 3 students.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to manage classroom activities and engage children effectively.
*Flexibility and creativity in educational methods.
