Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive support to Brokers, ensuring they have the necessary information to serve clients and market business efficiently. This role requires expertise in Binders, Open Market placements, Line Slips, and Reinsurance contracts, with individual specialisation varying by area.
Key Responsibilities:Review insurance proposals to ensure Brokers have complete and accurate information to service clients effectively and meet deadlines. Calculate premiums and process entries in the in-house broking system (Global XB). Prepare and issue credit/debit notes, including premium adjustments. Draft and manage cover notes, broker insurance documents, and premium-related documentation. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and statistical data, personally or through delegation. Address technical queries and process premiums and claims as required. Professionally handle inquiries from clients, insurers, and third parties in a timely manner. Keep diary records updated in Outlook and Global systems. Ensure debit notes and supporting documentation are prepared, checked, signed, and issued within 30 days of attachment. Work to minimise late signings in the market. Manage closing processes for bureaux and non-bureaux markets. Assist with aged debt management and credit control processes.Skills and Experience:Experience in various types of placements, including Binders, Open Market, Line Slips, and Reinsurance. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities to address client and market needs.This role is essential in supporting brokers and ensuring efficient, professional service delivery to clients and markets.
