What you will do
Johnson Controls are looking for a Chiller Engineer to join our growing team of specialised technicians maintaining and supporting customer’s facilities. This role is mobile working predominantly within South East area.
The UK&I Service team delivers innovative maintenance and service solutions to a wide customer base across all industry segments for HVAC, Chillers, Refrigeration, Controls and Mechanical & Electrical works! In our South East branch most of our work is within the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Nuclear and Petrochemical industries, including Commercial buildings.
As a Chiller Service Technician, you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, maintaining and commissioning AC and refrigeration systems. We work within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs.
How you will do it
As the direct contact with the client for site technical service and maintenance issues, you will carry out system PPM as per contract requirements clearly communicating findings and any further actions required or recommendations for system improvement, upgrades, or optimisations.
You will keep the customer informed on the service you are providing. Prepare detailed reports/technical communications on work carried out and submit to service coordinator & client as required. Although often working without accompaniment you will be a member of a team and chip in towards its success. Due to the technical nature of this role, you will implement a full site survey, compile, and supply a full dilapidation report as defined by scope. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do.
What we look for
* F-GAS 2079 card
* Full UK Driving License
* Qualified to min. NVQ level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
* Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chillers
* Experience with major manufacturers Chillers such as York, Trane.
