Job Description:
Venn Group is excited to be partnered with a leading media corporation to recruit a Finance Business Analyst for a 6 month interim contract. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work within a dynamic environment, supporting the Actuals and Reporting function and overseeing period and year-end close processes.
Key responsibilities of the role:
*Manage the relationship with the service provider to ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly accounting tasks, maintaining robust financial data for period and year-end closures
*Provide analysis, interpretation, and variance commentary for results
*Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Support in producing monthly data for consolidated submissions and periodic performance reports
*Track actual spend against forecast and guide the adoption of new self-service tools
*Contribute to rolling cashflow forecasts
*Act as a subject matter expert for financial systems supporting actuals reporting, sharing best practices globally
*Continuously review and improve business processes and systems
*Manage transitions of outsourced tasks to the service provider, ensuring knowledge transfer and workflow simplification
*Provide ad hoc analysis and support business activities and projects
*Uphold and enhance financial controls and accounting policies
Ideal candidate profile:
*Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Experience in financial and management accounting, preferably within a multinational organisation
*Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
*Proficiency in systems such as SAP S/4HANA and BPC, and Advanced Excel

Pay rate: £400-425 per day (paid via an Umbrella company)
Working hours: Full time
Working pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)
