Job Title: Refuse Loader
Hourly Rate: £12.59 per hour
Contract Duration: 2 weeks (starting December 23rd)
Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Chelmsford
Job Description:
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Refuse Loaders. This is a physical role, ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors and are committed to providing a high standard of service. Your primary responsibility will be assisting with the collection and loading of refuse onto waste collection vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist waste collection teams by loading refuse from residential and commercial areas.
* Ensure waste is loaded safely and efficiently onto the vehicle.
* Help ensure that routes are followed in a timely manner.
* Maintain a high level of safety while working on-site, following all safety protocols.
* Assist with general waste management duties as required.
Requirements:
* Ability to work in all weather conditions.
* Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
* Punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
