Job Description:
Job Title: Junior Business Analyst
Location: West Malling (2 days on-site per week)
Duration: 12-18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our team based in West Malling. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the transformation of our finance system, which is currently in the build phase, as well as support the transformation of our HR & Payroll systems, with a go-live set for 2026. This role offers the chance to contribute to major projects within the organisation, involving both business and technical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the ongoing transformation of the finance system, assisting with analysis and gathering requirements as part of the build phase.
*Get involved in the HR & Payroll system transformation, from requirement gathering through to the system’s go-live in 2026.
*Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
*Help identify business processes and ensure they are aligned with the new systems.
*Assist with creating and maintaining essential project documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, and system specifications.
*Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to both business and technical teams.
*Support testing, user acceptance, and system implementations as required.
Key Skills and Experience:
*Strong understanding of project lifecycles, from initial analysis through to post-go-live support.
*Experience in both business and technical analysis, with the ability to bridge the gap between the two.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and translate technical jargon into clear, understandable language.
*Experience with gathering and documenting requirements for systems transformations.
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support key project milestones.
Desirable:
*Previous experience in finance or HR & Payroll system transformations would be advantageous, but not essential.
*Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Personal Attributes:
*Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
*Enthusiastic and adaptable, with a keen interest in learning and developing within a dynamic environment.
