Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of industries across the globe. The business has been operating successfully for over 25 years, and due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Stores Supervisor to join their team. This role is responsible for the electrical fault finding and fixing and electrical inspection of inspection equipment including Industrial Metal Detection, Check weighing, X-ray and Vision products.
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely kitting and supply of parts to production, ensuring build timelines are met. Duties include inspecting incoming goods for accuracy and compliance, dispatching products on time with proper packing, maintaining accurate stock control, assisting with stock takes, and effectively communicating and cooperating with all business areas.
Main Responsibilities:
*Issuing components for manufacture in kit form.
*Inspecting and recording goods-in deliveries before storage.
*Packing and crating spares for dispatch.
*Collaborating with all areas of the business as needed.
*Adapting to changes in priority and resource allocation.
*Maintaining stock accuracy with a focus on timeliness and high quality.
*Carry out Team performance reviews.
*Manage team workloads and absences to ensure a good balance is kept.
Skills & Experience:
*Previous experience in a similar role.
*Strong planning and organisational skills.
*A personable approach with effective communication skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
*Clear and concise communication abilities.
*Experience with SAP or a similar stock control system (desirable).
*Forklift truck license (desirable).

*Working hours Monday to Friday 8.45 am – 4.45 pm
