The Group Head of FP&A is a pivotal role in the Accounting & Finance department of our client’s organisation, responsible for financial planning and analysis. The role requires a keen understanding of financial processes and the ability to work in a structured yet flexible manner to drive strategic financial decisions.

Description
The key duties of the Group Head of FP&A are as follows:
*Lead financial planning and analysis activities
*Develop strategic financial plans
*Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
*Work with the Accounting & Finance team to review financial information and forecasts
*Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions
*Develop and maintain financial reports
*Identify and drive process improvements
*Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting efforts
*Provide high quality strategic financial information with reliable forecasts
*Conduct short, medium and long term planning for the school with detailed scenario analysis and financial modelling
*Develop and present timely based management information and report to senior management team
*Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and reports
*Prepare interim and annual financial data for budgeting with detailed forecast of financial position and regular engagement and meetings with budget holders
Profile
A successful Group FP&A Manager should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
*A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent leadership and communication abilities
*Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
