Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and organized Accounts Assistant to join our Client’s team. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department by handling day-to-day financial tasks and supporting various administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
*Accounts Payable: *Process purchase orders and purchase invoices.
*Reconcile supplier statements and handle queries from suppliers.
*Accounts Receivable: *Raise sales invoices and generate weekly aged debtor reports.
*Expense Management: *Process employee expenses, petty cash, and company credit cards.
*Maintain detailed cash book reconciliations.
*Financial Reporting: *Assist with VAT returns and weekly aged creditor reports.
*General Finance Support: *Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, and ad hoc tasks.
*Assist with project work as directed by the Finance Manager.
*Support other departments during busy periods.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
*At least 12 months’ accounting experience.
*Impeccable time management and organizational skills.
*Ability to maintain detailed records, prioritize tasks, and work proactively.
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
