About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Central Support Developer to join the team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on post-go-live improvement and optimization projects, ensuring the seamless operation of our clients’ Business Central systems. This position combines development tasks with third-line support, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
*Upgrades and Maintenance: Oversee system updates and ensure the stability of Business Central implementations.
*Change Control Development: Implement and manage change requests, customizing solutions to meet client needs.
*Support Development: Provide third-line support by debugging issues, reviewing code, and delivering data fixes to maintain system integrity.
What You’ll Do:
*Collaborate on projects to process and execute a backlog of approximately 200 live change requests.
*Split your time evenly between development tasks (50%) and third-line support (50%), ensuring client systems are optimized and running smoothly.
*Work with AL extensions to deliver customized solutions that enhance the functionality of Business Central.
*Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.
Skills and Experience:
*A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in developing for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central.
*Proven expertise in creating and managing AL extensions for Business Central.
*Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including configuration, customization, and integration.
*Strong debugging and code review skills, with the ability to deliver effective data fixes.
*Functional understanding of Business Central modules and their application in business processes.
*Previous experience with a Microsoft partner is preferred, though candidates with end-user experience will also be considered.
