Job Advert: Supply Teachers - SEN School in Dorset

Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Temporary, Temp-to-Perm, or Supply
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our passionate team at a specialist SEN school in Dorset, starting January 2025. These rewarding roles are in our lower education classes (Primary SEN) and provide the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners with additional needs.
About the Role: *Class Size: Small groups of 4-6 young people, allowing for a focused and supportive teaching environment.
*Student Needs: Tailored learning for children with diverse additional needs, with an emphasis on phonics teaching and other foundational skills.
*Responsibilities: *Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing lessons.
*Work closely with our Assistant Heads and Head of Education, who will provide ongoing support and guidance.
*Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, enabling every student to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What We’re Looking For: *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience or a keen interest in working with primary-aged children with SEN.
*Strong understanding of phonics teaching and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
*Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach.
