Job Description:
Internal Sales and Social Media Coordinator *Job Type: Temp to Perm
*Location: Telford
*Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join a global engineering business as an Internal Sales and Social Media Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive, positive attitude and a flexible approach to teamwork, ready to contribute across various functions to drive success.
Day-to-day of the role: *Answer and manage incoming calls, ensuring effective communication and action as required.
*Plan, administer, and update social media posts to engage audiences and enhance brand visibility.
*Generate and distribute informational and advertising email campaigns.
*Collaborate with technical sales teams to create new images and videos for marketing purposes.
*Regularly update the website with blog posts, new images, and other content.
*Produce monthly quotes and sales statistics, highlighting open quotes for follow-up.
*Input data related to quotes and sales orders into our SAP system, and manage sales and purchase processing.
*Create formatted quotes for the sales team using Word.
*Reactivate and engage inactive contacts.
*Develop new sales opportunities by building relationships with new and existing customers.
*Welcome and host visitors, providing refreshments and a friendly reception.
*Identify and capitalise on upselling opportunities.
*Provide support for exhibitions and other company events.
*Assist in other areas of the company as needed to support overall business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Experience with social media management and content creation.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Word and SAP systems.
*Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
*Experience in sales, particularly within an engineering or technical field, is advantageous.
