Job Description:
Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Fri 07:30 - 15:30
Pay: From £12.48 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Pertemps are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing company based in Kidderminster. Working on a temporary to permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a desire to grow within the team. The successful candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.
The Duties of a Quality Inspector: *Generate, co-ordinate and utilise Inspection Plans and appropriate measuring tools
*Perform effective & efficient inspection of Incoming Materials, Stock Investigations and Finished Goods
*Reject all non-conforming products and materials that fail to meet quality Specifications.
*Control Rejected/Quarantined Material, review and monitor supplier performance.
*Maintain accurate and detailed departmental records
*Provide analysis and actions to meet Customer Requirements and Production Timelines in terms of Quality and Delivery.
*Ability to read CAD Drawings and Product Specifications to understand requirements
*Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the product to the specifications.
*Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure consistent quality control.
*Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient
The Requirements of a Quality Inspector: *Excellent Written and Spoken English
*Quality Engineer experience
*High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
*Work within required Timelines to avoid Production down time
*Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
*Good math and technical skills
*Good understanding of 2D drawings
*Excellent attendance and reliability record
