Experienced Customs Clerk *Location: Felixstowe
*Job Type: Full-time - 18-month contract
*Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Customs Clerk to become a vital part of our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs procedures and regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role: *Preparing and processing import/export documentation according to customs regulations.
*Liaising with customs authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
*Coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely clearance of goods.
*Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
*Staying updated on changes in customs laws and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as a Customs Clerk or in a similar role.
*In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
