Job Description:
Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a TechnicalProduct Owner for an initial 6 month contract on a hybrid basis.
The role is open for the Edinburgh, Manchester or London offices. The typical office attendance for this team is 1-2 times/week; there is flexibility around remote working for the ideal candidate.
Purpose of the Role:
Our client, a major UK Retail Bank, are undergoing a new initiative to uplift and improve their comms across the organisation. As part of this programme of work they will be creating a centralised repository for all communications as a replacement for their existing disjointed paper-based processes.
Your role will be to work on this new initiative by collaborating with stakeholders across the bank alongside solution designers and architects to gather requirements, define what this product could look like and drive those requirements across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities of the role:
*Define and drive requirements for an enterprise communications repository.
*Collaborate with solution designers, architects, and technical teams to deliver a robust back-end communications repository solution.
*Work with stakeholders across the bank to ensure alignment and integration with other workstreams.
*Support the centralization and standardization of communications collateral (e.g., letters, emails) from multiple platforms.
*Provide insights into technology stacks, including Adobe, Sefas, and Messagepoint, to guide decisions and implementation.
*Collaborate with other teams to ensure that deliverables from related projects align with this initiative.
What we require from the candidate:
*Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a strong emphasis on back-end technical solutions.
*Expertise in communications technology and processes, with a background in enterprise communications solutions highly desirable.
*Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
*Familiarity with relevant technologies, such as Adobe, Sefas, and Messagepoint (desirable).
*Background in marketing, digital media, or communications within large organizations (desirable).
