**Exciting Opportunity: Weapons Armourer Engineer FTC**

**What You Will Do:**
- Provide day-to-day support in trials activities, fostering strong user and customer relationships to deliver cost-effective technical support across various UK locations.
- Conduct Level 2 maintenance on weapon systems, including pre, post, and on-condition maintenance, with training provided for new systems.
- Undertake weapon system inspections to determine their suitability for firing activities and resolve technical queries from users and maintainers.
- Manage Line Replacement Units and perform Configuration Control activities, ensuring equipment under contract is maintained accurately.
- Support the planning and implementation of retrofit, modification, and conversion programs, and provide technical support to trials activities, including equipment failure diagnosis and LRU removal/replacement.
- Participate in ’off-site’ maintenance activities for platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and practices.
**What You Will Bring:**
- A formally qualified Armourer background with experience in heavy weapons.
- Instructor/Teaching qualification with a strong motivation to transfer knowledge.
- Previous experience within MOD or Military (REME) environments.
- Desirable: Level 3 qualification in weapon Armoury or equivalent experience, such as CR2 Armourers course.
- A proactive, disciplined approach with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
