We are seeking a Science Teacher for a secondary school in Tower Hamlets to cover Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes. This part-time role is ideal for an individual with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in secondary education. The school offers flexibility in scheduling, with the specific days to be confirmed.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver engaging and informative science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
*Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
*Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
*Adapt teaching methods to cater to the varying needs and interests of students.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Must possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Proven experience as a Science Teacher at the secondary level.
*Strong understanding of the science curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
