Job Title: Family Practitioner
Location: Norwich
Salary: £18 Umbrella P/H

Do you have the skills to provide targeted support and help families build resilience? If so, our client Children’s Services is looking for a dedicated Family Practitioner to join our Family Help team.
About the Role As a Family Practitioner, you’ll manage a caseload of vulnerable families, providing expert support and delivering interventions that bring about sustainable change. Using your professional expertise, you’ll assess family needs, develop collaborative plans, and work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure children and young people are safe, happy, and thriving.
Key Responsibilities *Provide targeted interventions to support families facing challenges such as low school attendance, family conflict, mental health issues, and more.
*Act as a lead practitioner, conducting thorough assessments and coordinating responsive, multi-agency plans.
*Work with families to increase their resilience and reduce dependency on statutory services.
*Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in line with safeguarding policies.
*Maintain accurate records, evaluate outcomes, and contribute to quality assurance practices.
What We’re Looking For *A degree or NVQ Level 4 qualification with at least two years of experience working directly with children and families.
*Knowledge of safeguarding policies and experience managing complex family cases.
*Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
*A flexible, reflective approach to working with families and professionals.
*Willingness to undertake training in areas such as Signs of Safety and Restorative Practice.
