Job Title: Senior Property Services Officer - Repairs
Location: Hybrid (working from home and the offices based in Croydon)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: 6 months with possibility to extend

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver a high-quality, efficient, and compliant administration service for the repairs team.
*Oversee repairs contracts and contractor data to ensure excellent service delivery and value for money.
*Manage Work in Progress to meet service-level agreements (SLA’s).
*Lead contractor performance meetings, including high-profile and overdue job reviews.
*Provide monthly KPI data and reports to the Asset Manager and Leadership Team.
*Act as the escalation point for customer and external organisation queries.
*Investigate and respond to Stage 1 complaints, ensuring feedback is incorporated into future practices.
*Drive the use of the housing management system (CX) and implement new processes to maximise its potential.
*Represent the organisation externally as a provider of quality property services.
*Ensure new developments are accurately set up in the asset management system, with correct contracts and defect arrangements.
*Conduct due diligence on repairs contractors and their sub-contractors, ensuring compliance and competency.
*Collaborate with surveyors and contractors to schedule resident appointments.
Skills and Qualities:
*Proven experience in repairs or a related property services field
*Technical knowledge of repairs.
*Strong leadership and communication skills
*Contract management experience
*A dynamic and customer focused approach.
*Strong organisational skills to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
*Ability to handle customer escalations and complaints with professionalism and empathy
