Job Description:
Our client, a business-to-business technology solutions business are looking to hire an Accounts Payable & Treasury Manager. This role is responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team. The successful candidate will ensure that all incoming invoices are being dealt with as part of a centralised process, as well as working with the transformation team to design and implement global processes. The successful candidate will have previous experience in guiding a team to implement the right strategy for success.
Reporting into the Financial Controller this role is a senior position in the Finance Team. This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday) in the office in the City of London.
Role responsibilities:
*Assess the current processes and create a roadmap to move towards automation and overhaul the current manual processes
*Work with the transformation team to drive changes, implementations and improvements
*Responsible for the end-to-end procure to pay process
*Business partner account managers and MD’s to manage expectations
*Manage banking relationships
*Contribute to cash and liquidity management through cashflow forecasting weekly
*Reviewing funding needs daily
*Analyse and perform the appropriate hedging and funding activities across accounts
*Develop and identify a vision for the Accounts Payable Team and track against KPI’s
Successful candidate:
*Finance Qualification - ACT/ACCA or similar
*Prior experience in a similar role desirable
*Treasury management experience linked to predicting future billings, cash collection expectations and taking part in the cashflow forecasting process on a weekly basis.
*Successfully managed a team previously through a significant period of change
*A track record of strengthening and retaining a high performing team
*Have experience developing and coaching an accounts payable team
*Strong experience in managing the treasury function as well as experience relating to FX, liquidity and cashflow
*A strong background and previous experience of system migrations and implementations
