Job Description:
Finance Analyst *Location: Mayfair, London
*Job Type: Permanent
*Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Reed Accountancy & Finance are partnering with the growing investment and asset management division of a group focusing on renewable energy to recruit a proactive Finance Analyst for their small finance team in London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in audit, finance consulting, or a corporate role, who is ready to take on key responsibilities in budgeting, planning, and financial reporting within a growing international group.
Day-to-day of the role: *Budget and Planning: Collaborate with department heads to gather and consolidate budget inputs. Validate and analyse budget submissions to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
*Reporting: Produce accurate consolidated financial reports for management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Proactively contribute to designing and improving the financial reports of the company. Create dashboards and visual presentations to communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
*Data Quality: Implement quality controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and ensure the accuracy of reporting. Collaborate with teams to ensure the consistency of extra-financial data in financial reporting.
*Process Evolution and Optimisation: Contribute to the continuous development of financial models and implement automation solutions to optimize the reporting process. Modernize reporting tools by offering new visualization and publication solutions, such as Power BI reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Minimum 5 years’ experience in audit, finance consulting, or a corporate role.
*Master’s degree in finance, business, engineering, or related field.
*Proficiency in information systems including spreadsheets, databases, and ERP.
*Strong command of MS Office applications and confident in using Power BI.
*Knowledge of the TM1 tool and renewable energy sector is a plus.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
*Highly collaborative, team-oriented, with strong planning and organisational skills.
*Ability to think analytically and strategically, meticulous and consistent in approach.
