We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist to join our nurturing and inclusive mainstream school located in the LE13 area. This full-time role offers a chance to work closely with a small group of 6 pupils with SEMH needs, while also supporting interventions, one-to-one (1:1) sessions, and classroom activities across the school.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide tailored support for a small group of students with SEMH needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
* Deliver focused interventions and one-to-one sessions to boost student confidence and progress.
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom needs and ensure a positive learning environment.
* Use your expertise to promote and manage positive behaviours, fostering resilience and emotional wellbeing.
* Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges, ideally in a school setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
* A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting children’s individual needs.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and intervention techniques.
* Flexibility to adapt and support across different age groups and classroom settings.
