Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

BSc minimum in Chemistry or equivalent related science

It is Essential that you have Waste Industry experience
Supervisory experience is highly beneficial
This position will require you to work closely with the Transfer Station Manager to control the day to day operational aspects of the transfer station.
This is a hands on role and will involve preparation and booking of incoming and outgoing loads, reception of waste to site, training of direct reports in all aspects of the Waste Transfer Station operations.
The monitoring of efficiency and reception standards and input identification into process improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensuring full compliance with the site permit
• Waste acceptance and compliance with pre-acceptance
• Compliance with HSE segregation guidelines
• Safe operation of the site
• General waste handling and bulking
• Liaising with site management to best implement day to day work requirements
• Development and training of chemists to include rotation of work across incoming and outgoing waste checking and planning
• Ensuring Stock rotation in all storage bays to minimise stock age and increase compliance
• Maintain housekeeping standards on site
• Quality monitoring of reception based work including compliance with waste caveats, standard of NCR raised, detail of on site checks
• Responsibility for targeted time frames to submit NCR’s and invoices
• Organisation and processing of TFS outgoing loads and all relevant paperwork in conjunction with Site Management
