Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance industry, is undergoing an IT transformation and is seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst to support this critical project.
This is a hybrid role based in Central London, requiring on-site presence three days a week, with a salary of £80,000 - £85,000.
Key Responsibilities:
*Analyse business challenges, engage with stakeholders, and understand core insurance platforms and applications.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the Data Operations service for insurance products.
*Troubleshoot data queries and issues, providing resolutions or guidance to business users.
*Serve as the “Go-To” team member for analysis, supporting and coordinating with offshore capacity.
*Mentor team members while continuously enhancing your own technical skills.
*Provide guidance and upskill junior team members.
Required Experience:
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience working across various business areas within the insurance industry.
*Strong proficiency in working with complex data sets and data extraction from databases, cloud platforms, and unstructured files.
*Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders across all levels, from operational teams to executive leadership.
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
*Proficiency in SQL, Power BI reporting, and Excel modelling.
Desirable Skills:
*Experience with business decision engines.
*Familiarity with semantic layer tools.
*Knowledge of best practices for Azure DevOps.
