A lovely primary school in Greenwich are looking for a Level 4 trained Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils and cover classes with an January start.
The Role
The school would like to employ a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work with all year groups from year 1 to year 6. The role will predominately be a covering class teachers to allow them to have their PPA time. You will be provided with lesson plans and activities to follow whilst overseeing the classes. Your role will also involve leading some intervention groups and covering class teachers if they are absent. Pupils will be working at various levels and you should have a positive and engaging approach to encourage the most reluctant learners. You will work closely with class teachers and other teaching assistants within the year group and keystage.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role is offered on a full-time basis from February 2025.
To apply for this role you must hold an HLTA qualification (level 4) and have previous experience working in schools.
