Position: Commercial Management Accountant - 12 Month Fixed-Term contract
Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Discretionary bonus + up to 12% pension
About Our Client
I am currently partnering with an industry-leading group in the housing sector to recruit a Commercial Management Accountant. This hands-on role offers a blend of group reporting and commercial exposure within a large scale group.
Key Responsibilities:
*Delivering management accounts to senior management teams, offering insight and commentary into business performance and driving decision making.
*Analysing monthly performance variances against Budgets and Forecasts, highlighting Risks and Opportunities, and supporting the business with reforecasting
*Cross-functionally business partnering.
*Delivering analysis of actual with recommendations for Senior Management
*Taking responsibility for the budget and forecasting process, supporting budget holders and having confidence in knowing when to encourage, when to instruct, and when to push back
*Providing support to Finance Managers with requirements of month end ledger control and balance sheet reconciliation
Necessary Requirements:
*ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
*Experience in a group or blue-chip organisation is beneficial.
*Strong technical background.
*Excellent communication skills, with extensive experience in senior stakeholder engagement.
*Ability to work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence in Basingstoke.
