The Role
Responsibility for managing key accounts ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction whilst increasing margins.
*Technical Account Manager for a selection of Smurfit Westrock’s key customers and responsible for offering Smurfit Westrock value package to the customer:
*Support the team and customers in technical Value Creation, Innovation, Quality and Sustainability.
*Develop & deliver the technical aspect of account strategies.
*Develop, coordinate and implement innovative solutions to the technical requirements of customers in line with capabilities.
*Identify, coordinate and implement cost take out and value-added initiatives in line with the account strategy.
* Key Competencies/Qualifications/Requirements
*Technical Sales / Design / Account Management background and competence across the key responsibilities (Value Creation, Innovation, Quality and Sustainability).
*Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Site, Group & Industry manufacturing processes and procedures.
*Knowledge of FMCG products, markets, and drivers
*Knowledge of our sustainability roadmap and understanding how sustainability is a key driver within our customers.
*Effective project management and coordination capabilities.
Person Specification
*Self-motivated, enjoys high-paced environment.
*Ability to adapt.
*Ability to work in a collaborative way.
*Ability to work flexible hours.
*Good commercial acumen and awareness, along with literacy and numeracy skills
*Understanding of full product lifecycle from initial concept and design through to production.
*Ability to challenge existing designs and solutions for the benefit of Smurfit Westrock and the customer.
*Evidence of demonstrating a proactive ’can do’ attitude.
*Excellent time management and personal organisation skills with a flexible approach
*Proven track record in taking ownership and for consistently delivering results.
*Excellent working knowledge of CAD, Adobe Suite, Excel, and other Microsoft packages
*Experience and interest in graphic design would be an advantage.
