Job Description:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Worker to join our team. Our Bank Support Workers provide comprehensive support to individuals with a range of needs ranging from Learning Dissabilities, Autism, Epilepsy, Mental Health, sensory impairments, or other complex care needs with clinical requirments, ensuring high-quality care and assisting with daily living activities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Bank-Support Workers to join our team in York. As a Bank-Support Worker, you will work within a supported living package, providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with a range of needs, including complex care that involves clinical requirements. This role offers flexibility and a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you support.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide person-centered support, including personal care, household tasks, budgeting, and community engagement to promote independence.
*Support with meal planning, cooking, balanced diets, and medication management, liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
*Deliver specialized clinical care, including tracheostomy care, stoma management, suction, oxygen therapy, PEG feeding, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Experience:
Preferred:
*NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Level 2 acceptable).
*Training and experience working with complex individuals
Beneficial:
*Full UK driving license (manual and automatic).
*Additional training in PBS, PMVA, or MAPA is advantageous.
*Some clinical experience in healthcare settings.
