Chartered Building Surveyor - Diverse Project Portfolio & Leadership Opportunities!
A forward-thinking consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join their dynamic and supportive team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor eager to take ownership of high-value projects, manage client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the ongoing success of a collaborative practice.
The Successful Chartered Building Surveyor’s Role
The Chartered Building Surveyor will lead on a variety of projects, including some of London’s most prestigious properties. You will be involved in both professional and project services while playing a pivotal role in developing client relationships and supporting team growth.
You’ll manage high-value projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality delivery while mentoring junior surveyors on their APC journey.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver contract administration on projects up to £2,500,000+VAT
*Undertake insurance reinstatement projects, planned maintenance surveys, and condition surveys
*Design and specify maintenance works and carry out defect investigations and diagnosis
*Manage Licence for Alterations, party wall matters, and pre-acquisition surveys
*Act as Employer’s Agent and provide reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes
*Lead and manage team members, including mentoring graduates and assisting with APC training
*Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring service excellence
*Develop new and repeat business opportunities where possible
The Ideal Chartered Building Surveyor will have
*MRICS qualification with significant post-qualification experience
*Proven expertise in contract administration and professional surveying services
*Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Proactive, client-focused, and results-driven
*Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver exceptional service under pressure
