Description
Key duties for the Part Time Qualified Accountant ole are as follows:
*Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
*There will be a large focus on VAT moving forward with this role
*Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
*Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
*Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
*Support month-end and year-end close process.
*Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
*Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
*Assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Profile
A successful Part Time Accountant should have:
*Fully obtained an accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Schools experience
*Be on site 3 days a week
*VAT experience
*Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
*Proficiency in accounting software.
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
*Ability to work in a team environment.
*Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
*High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
Job Offer
*A competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, pro-rata.
*Working 3 days a week (on site for those 3 days)
