Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
*Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations.
*Ensuring all payments are accurate and made in a timely manner.
*Resolving payroll-related queries from staff.
*Updating payroll records with changes such as salary increases, promotions, or leavers.
*Collaborating with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll administration.
*Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll.
*Producing reports for senior management as required.
*Continually developing and improving payroll procedures.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
*Proven experience in a payroll position ideally in-house
*Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
*Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
*Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
