Job Description:
Accounts Receivable Team Leader *Location: Ipswich
*Salary: £36,000-£37,000 per annum Plus Bonus
Join our client, a leading facilities management company, as an Accounts Receivable Team Leader. This role is based in their Ipswich office and offers a dynamic work environment where you will lead and enhance the accounts receivable function. This position is ideal for someone passionate about driving efficiency and improvement within financial operations.
Day-to-day of the role: *Oversee the accounts receivable team, ensuring motivation, management, and high performance.
*Collaborate closely with other department managers to enhance operational efficiency.
*Achieve individual and team KPIs, managing and developing the accounts receivable team.
*Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders and work alongside finance team leaders to provide optimal business support.
*Implement and improve internal controls, standardising processes to align with best practices.
*Ensure appropriate training for the accounts receivable function and related departments.
*Generate valuable management information to support strategic decision-making.
*Deliver all reports and schedules to stakeholders within tight deadlines.
*Manage and resolve issues with potential problem accounts.
*Drive system upgrades and ensure adherence to workflows within the accounts receivable team.
*Perform additional ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience managing an accounts receivable function is desirable.
*Ability to develop team members’ skills and drive continuous improvement.
*Proven experience in designing and maintaining internal control frameworks.
*Effective communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
*Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
*Positive and focused attitude in all professional interactions.
*Flexible and positive approach to work challenges.
*Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OCR technology is desirable.
*High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
