Job Description:
Interim Finance Business Analyst needed for a market leading, and instantly recognisable media business. The main focus of this position will be to provide financial support and analysis to finance teams and senior stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Analyst to get their foot in the door of a highly reputable, blue chip organisation!
Key responsibilities-
*Manages the service provider relationship to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly accounting tasks, supporting period and year-end close processes, and resolving issues with the service provider lead as needed.
*Analyse and provide commentary on Digital and Central functions’ financial results.
*Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
*Supports Finance Business Partners in producing monthly data for consolidated submissions and performance reports
*Track actual spend vs. forecast and encourage adoption of self-service tools
*Contribute to rolling cashflow forecast preparation
*Continuously review, recommend, and implement business process and system improvements.
*Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for business activities and projects
Candidate requirements
*Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar
*Have strong financial and management accounting experience within in a multi-national organisation
*Previous experience of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and business partnering
*Strong numerical and analytical skills reflecting an ability to manipulate and interpret data
*Ability to take complex data/principles and to communicate these in an understandable way
*Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
