Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance SAP FICO Consultant to join an exciting 12-month project with occasional travel to the client’s site in the UK. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while operating outside IR35.
Key Details:
*Start Date: 1st of February
*Duration: 11 months with further extensions
*Location: Remote with occasional travel to the UK client site
The Role:
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SAP FICO to design, configure, and deliver financial solutions aligned with the client’s business objectives. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that system configurations meet business needs and drive operational efficiency. This role also involves working with CAPEX requirements, PS integration, and ensuring effective interaction with external systems, such as Payroll and HR Timesheets (CATS).
Key Responsibilities:
*Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate financial and operational requirements.
*Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
*Provide expertise in financial processes such as month-end close, reporting, and reconciliation.
*Ensure seamless integration with CAPEX processes and Project Systems (PS).
*Collaborate on Payroll and HR Timesheet (CATS) interactions and integrations.
*Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues.
*Leads the design thinking from a client side, feeding back on the solutions proposed from the SI
*Support integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
*Ensure compliance with best practices and governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
*Proven track record of delivering projects within SAP environments.
*Experience with CAPEX processes and PS integration.
*Knowledge of integrating Payroll/HR systems and CATS (Cross Application Timesheets).
*Excellent communication, stakeholder management skills
*Familiarity with UK-specific financial processes and regulations.
*Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining collaboration with the team.
Desirable Skills:
*Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM).
*Experience working in an Agile or hybrid project environment.
