Job Description:
Job Title: Surveyor – Damp & Mould
Type: Temporary Contract until April 2025
Location: Worcester & Gloucester
Hourly Rate: £24 - £32.31
Hours: Full time – 37 per week
BRC are working with a housing association who are looking for a Damp & Mould surveyor to join their team on a temporary contract basis. You will carry out damp and mould surveys and produce reports to provide technical knowledge and expertise. You will also identify and deal with hazards within the residential properties.
The properties are predominately based around the Gloucester area but travel to and around Worcester might be required. The role will initially be site and office based and then move to a hybrid working model.
Person Specification:
*Relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in a construction related subject
*Experience of undertaking damp and mould surveying
*Experience of working within the social housing sector
*Experience of Health & Safety and compliance in social housing
*Experience of working with residents
*A good working knowledge of landlord health and safety and compliance requirements
*Full driving licence with access to a vehicle with business insurance.

*Training and equipment will be provided
*Must be available immediately or to start the beginning of January 2025
