Job Description:
Our client is committed to supporting their employees and delivering top-notch service. We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent HR support across the organisation.
As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of HR-related tasks. Payroll experience is beneficial, but the focus of the role is on providing support with generalist HR duties. Familiarity with Dayforce is a strong advantage but we are looking for someone who has good knowledge across a broad range of HR software and is confident with them.
Key Responsibilities:
*HR Support: Assist with HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, onboarding new hires, and recruitment support.
*Data Management: Ensure all payroll and HR data is up-to-date and accurately maintained in the system.
*Compliance: Ensure processes comply with relevant laws and regulations, including tax and benefits administration, right to work checks and contract administration.
*Reporting: Generate reports as needed, and assist with financial reporting related to payroll and HR functions.
*Systems: Utilise software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
*Training: Ensure training matrix is kept up-to-date, onboard apprentices, and assess skills gaps.
*Employee Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and HR support, providing clear communication and assistance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
*Proven experience in HR is essential
*Strong understanding of recruitment processes, compliance, and best practices.
*Experience with Dayforce or other software is highly desirable.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is a plus.
