I am currently working with a company who are looking for an IFRS17 Technical Accountant for a 12-month contract position. Based in Central London, this role will play a critical part within the company by providing support to the group’s financial reporting team.
Your new roleThe key responsibilities include -
*Providing IFRS 17 technical advice and guidance
*Building and developing models performing accounting and modelling calculations
*Preparing transition accounts
*Designing, implementing and supporting new processes and controls
*Working closely with senior stakeholders, auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders
*Any other ad hoc tasks required and make sure the business is ready for IFRS 17
What you’ll need to succeed
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with IFRS17 experience
*Experience with implementing IFRS17
*Collaboration with key stakeholders and auditors
*Experience building and developing Excel spreadsheets for data models
