About the Role:
A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Accounts Client Manager to join their dynamic and professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring excellent service delivery and acting as the key point of contact for their accounting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting, compliance, and advisory services.
Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns for a range of businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Providing tailored advice to clients on business performance, tax planning, and compliance requirements.
Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members to ensure high-quality standards.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to support their business objectives.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, keeping up-to-date with any changes.
Identifying opportunities for additional services or new business to support the firm’s growth.
Requirements:
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or Qualified by Experience with substantial experience in an accountancy practice environment.
Proven track record in managing a client portfolio, including experience with SMEs.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Leadership and mentoring abilities to support team development.
Proficiency with accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and/or Sage, along with strong Excel skills.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
