SOC Support Analyst - Cyber Security
Location: London
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH
Salary: £30,000-£36,000 per annum
About the Role
A London-based managed service provider is seeking a Tier 1 SOC Support Analyst to join its growing service desk team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of experience in a similar role, looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic environment.
You’ll monitor systems, address alerts, and prioritise threats to ensure effective incident management, supporting the organisation and its clients against cyber risks while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as the first line of defence for cyber security incidents.
*Assess, prioritise, and escalate potential threats while mitigating risks based on playbooks.
*Maintain clear reporting and communication during incidents with clients and third-party providers.
*Support the Cyber Security Team with incident resolution and operational tasks.
*Provide professional, customer-focused service throughout each ticket’s lifecycle.

Essential Requirements
*Minimum 1 year in a Tier 1 Cyber Security SOC Support Analyst role
*Familiarity with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, and Defender suite
*MSP experience preferred.
*Understanding of Microsoft 365 Cloud Technologies from a security perspective.
*MUST have the SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst Associate)
*MUST have the SC-900 (Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals)
*MUST have British Citizenship. ILR or Settlement Status
