Job Description:
A Secondary Academy in Royal Wootton Bassett urgently seek an experienced Data Manager to join them from February 2025 or sooner.
You will be responsible for (including but not limited to):
*Managing the data required by the school for external and internal use.
*Suppotyinh student’s learning through the review, production and analysis of assessment data, in conjunction with the Exams Officer.
*Providing pupil/assessment and progress reports on a regular basis.
*Supporting the transition of new students to the school through the securing and inputting of personal and academic information.
*Being first point of contact for teacher attainment input queries, data collection and associated record keeping.
*Maintaining school MIS modules to ensure accurate information, relating to personal, academic and other relevant aspects, is held on each student.
*Providing statutory data for the trust and external bodies including the DFE and LA, ensuring it is accurate and submitted on time.
*Responsible for the Pupil Student Census. Ensure preparation for the CENSUS is completed in a timely manner.
*Liaising with staff members on requirements of each CENSUS. Generate and produce the appropriate summary reports to be checked and approved by the Headteacher. Upload the completed CENSUS information as required.
*Ensuring that data is input into SIMS accurately and promptly.
*Overall responsibility to maintain accurate assessment and reporting data within the school’s MIS database to ensure student data is accurate and fulfils the schools safeguarding responsibilities.
*All student data, Assessment and Recording, including CAT Testing, Reading Tests and FFT Target Setting
*Line managing the Data Assistant.
*Training of staff on basic MIS use.
